The Whale Skeleton of The Isle of Wight

With my busy summer, have been very naughty about updating my blog.
But fall is almost here and thought I would restart with a  favorite subject--whales.
 Years ago, when I lived in Holland, a whale washed up on the coast of Belgium.
I still regret not getting to see it.
This whale originally washed up near the coast of The Needles, England.

Blackgang Chine, Isle of Wight, England.  Circa 1921.

Circa 1947.  The skeleton is still an attraction today.
