Royal Wedding Party

Watching live at my friend Lisa's lovely party.
Woke up at 3:30AM, white knuckled, to get there on time.

Cheers!

Enjoyed warm crumpets during the wedding.

A feast fit for a king.

I know, where's Maggie Smith?

Lisa proving once again to be the hostess with the mostest!
She's British, so this was an extra special party.

Supposed to be a close up of my hat, oh well.

As I arrived in the dark, couldn't tell (until leaving)
that the front was all decked out, even the fountain.

London Calling

With all the coverage of London, I was inspired to go through
old photos of our wonderful years in England.

Jordan has always been my sidekick, hence the photos of him and
where ever we decided to go.  Here, Jord at The Tower of London.

Jord running around the grounds of Bodum Castle.

At Stonehenge.

 I miss this little one!

Judging by the angle, my little companion took this
photo of me.  Pretty sure, across the street from Big Ben.

My brother John and Jordo, in our backyard, in England.
Yes, that is a phone booth--sadly, not mine.

A ham on the beat.

Jord loved the peacocks at castles, and would call them "pauw".
I thought it was a sweet little made up word.  Found out later
it meant "peacock" in Dutch, taught by his grandparents.

Love!

A life-size beefeater still keeps an eye on me
in Minneapolis.

Scott Campbell-Tattoo/Dollar Bill Artist

Marc Jacobs may sport his tattoos,
but Scott Campbell is wowing the art world with his laser-cut dollar bills.
Whether right or wrong, it's beautiful.

Field Trip...New Ulm, my hometown and "Stars Hollow"

Herman the German, keeping watch over the city.

Spent a fun afternoon sightseeing with my tour guide, Jack.
His stylish Mustang, fresh out of hibernation.

The backside of a great looking warehouse.

View out the window, at a stoplight.

The old gift shop at Schell's Brewery.

At the brewery, gardens in the background.

The former post office, now a museum.

One of the many beautiful homes.

Yet another.

"My future home".
Started it's life as a gas station, now a retail store.
